Maestro Arild Remmereit and Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Perform Tchaikovsky’s Seldom Heard Third Symphony, Oct. 18 & 19 

Maestro Arild Remmereit and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra  (BSO) present a program of Tchaikovsky and Mozart on Saturday, October 18 at 8 p.m. and Sunday, October 19 at 3 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. The concert includes Tchaikovsky’s rarely heard Symphony No. 3, “Polish,” Mozart’s Flute Concerto in G Major, performed by BSO Principal Flute Emily Skala, and the BSO premiere of 19th century female composer Elfrida Andrée’s Concert Overture in D Major.

Pinchas Zukerman to Replace Hilary Hahn for BSO Concerts, September 18, 19 & 21

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) regrets to announce that due to muscle strain, Hilary Hahn has cancelled her engagement with the Orchestra slated for this Thursday, September 18 at The Music Center at Strathmore, and Friday, September 19 and Sunday, September 21 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. In her place, the BSO and Music Director Marin Alsop welcome Pinchas Zukerman, internationally acclaimed Israeli violinist, violist and conductor.

Jason Alexander to Replace Mandy Patinkin in Baltimore Symphony Orchestra SuperPops Program, January 22-25

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) regrets to announce that due a schedule conflict resulting from participation in an upcoming Broadway production, Mandy Patinkin has withdrawn his engagement with the Orchestra, slated for January 22 at The Music Center at Strathmore and January 23-25, 2015 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. In his place, the BSO welcomes actor Jason Alexander.
