
Mid-Week Education Concerts
Tiny Tots: Pre K-Kindergarten
Approximately 35 minutes in length
These interactive concerts introduce students to the instruments of the orchestra and provide a gateway into thinking about music through other subjects.
Prime Time: Grades 1-3
Approximately 40 minutes in length
Prime Time concerts excite students through musical exploration and an introduction into arts integrated curriculum links.
Music for Youth: Grades 4-6
Approximately 40 minutes in length
Whether new comers to the orchestra or already young musicians, these concerts will engage students and provide meaningful connections to key curriculum subjects.

An exploration into Beethoven's life through his hearing, this concert explores Beethoven's hardships and triumphs through music and physical adversity. Looking into historical evidence of Beethoven's gradual hearing decline, the concert will link to curricular themes of anatomy and history.

Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.Through the lens of American geography and geology, this concert showcases the breadth, wealth, and diversity of the American landscape. With musical selections of Copland and Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite, students will experience some of the world's most beautiful places described through these iconic orchestral works.

A winter wonderland comes to life in this timeless story of a young boy's magical friendship with a snowman. As they travel across the world together, students also learn about the environmental impact of climate change.
