Gala Celebration Concert with Renée Fleming
Saturday, September 15, 2012 at 8:30 p.m.
This event is no longer available.
Marin Alsop, conductor
Renée Fleming, soprano

“A voice as warm and rich as a fine single malt,” raves The Times of London; “…the world’s greatest living soprano,” exclaims Billboard. Grammy Award winner Renée Fleming brings her luminous soprano voice to the Meyerhoff in this special Gala program celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

The legendary diva, with the BSO, will perform favorites from her operatic repertoire, including Puccini's "O mio babbino caro" from Gianni Schicchi, "Vissi d'arte, vissi d'amore" from Tosca and Dvořák’s "Song to the Moon" from Rusalka, as well as selections by the great musical theater composer/lyricist team Rodgers & Hammerstein.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Parking for this event will be limited to the University of Baltimore Garage, entrance on Maryland Ave, for $10. Access to the usual garages will not be available.
