This event is no longer available.

Mark O'Connor, violin and composer
Ellington -  Harlem
Copland -  Appalachian Spring
Mark O'Connor -  American Seasons
Multimedia

Aaron Copland captured the sound of the American landscape better than any other composer. His Appalachian Spring paints a vivid picture of the verdant American countryside, including folk dances and song. Violinist and composer Mark O’Connor draws from bluegrass, jazz and classical traditions in his high-energy, rhythmic original compositions for fiddle and orchestra. And Duke Ellington's Harlem represents the influence of America's greatest musical invention, jazz.

The concert will end at approximately 9:45 pm on Friday and Saturday, and at approximately 4:45 pm on Sunday.
