“Worthless and impossible to play,” declared Tchaikovsky’s friends, but he refused to change what became history’s most popular piano concerto. Born blind, pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii has inspired audiences the world over. Also, Norwegian conductor Arild Remmereit leads the music of his countryman in Grieg’s famous Peer Gynt.
