Mozart -  Symphony No. 34
Ravel -  Concerto in G Major

Multimedia

Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G Major begins like the crack of a whip with flashy fingerwork and continues with jazz-inspired melodies, recalling the composer’s American travels. Across the pond, Mendelssohn’s adventures in Scotland moved him to compose his Third Symphony, based on pencil sketches he made of the Scottish countryside, evoking the spirit of Romanticism. The program is rounded out with Mozart’s bright and festive Symphony No. 34.

The concert will end at approximately 10:00 pm on Friday and Saturday, and at approximately 5:00 pm on Sunday.
