Long a favorite of BSO audiences, Mario Venzago brings with this visit the spiritually uplifting Third Symphony of Bruckner. Brazilian pianist Nelson Freire is a frequent guest with most of the major orchestras of Europe and the U.S. His refined interpretation of Beethoven's sublime Fourth Concerto is sure to be a season highlight.
