Just 24, the highly gifted French conductor Lionel Bringuier has already made his mark as Gustavo Dudamel’s Associate Conductor at the Los Angeles Philharmonic. He makes his BSO debut in three classic Russian orchestral showpieces, and accompanies concertmaster Jonathan Carney in the lyrical, folk-inflected melodies of Khachaturian’s sumptuous Violin Concerto.
