Location
The Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall is located in Baltimore's historic Mt. Vernon Cultural District just two miles north of the Inner Harbor and is easily accessible from I-95 and I-83.

Performance Times
Matinee performances occur on Sundays. Evening performances occur on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The Holiday Spectacular has matinee and evening performances during the week and on the weekend.
Concert Length
Most concerts are approximately two hours and typically include a 20-minute intermission. The lobby opens one hour prior to the concert start time.

Methods of Payment
Payments can be made by check or with a credit card over the phone. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.
Comp Policy
One complimentary ticket for every 40 tickets purchased per performance. In addition, tour operators receive a complimentary escort ticket.
Dining Options
Light fare and bar service are available in the lobby one hour prior to performance and during intermission. For suggested area restaurants, please contact the Group Sales Office.
Accessibility
The Meyerhoff is handicap accessible with handicap parking and wheelchair seating. Assistive hearing systems are available for no charge at the coatroom on the Orchestra level (on a first-come, first-served basis) for hearing-impaired persons.
Coat Check
A coat check room is located on the Orchestra level.
Rest Rooms
Rest rooms are located on the Orchestra and Grand Tier levels.
Lost and Found
If you think you lost an item at the Meyerhoff, please call 410.783.8100. We do our best to return items to their owners, but the BSO cannot be responsible for lost items.
Bus Parking
Free on-site motor coach parking is available. Please notify the Group Sales Office if your group will be coming by bus.
Garage Parking
Garage parking is available in the Cathedral Street or Symphony Center Garages. Both garages are located directly opposite the Meyerhoff. Parking vouchers can be purchased in advance as part of your ticket order.
Handicap Parking
Spaces are available on both the Park Avenue and Cathedral Street sides of the Meyerhoff and in the Cathedral Street and Symphony Center Garages.

From Downtown Baltimore

Take Charles Street north past the Washington Monument.

6 blocks after the Monument, turn left at Preston Street.

The Meyerhoff is on the left at the corner of Cathedral and Preston.

Cathedral Street Garage: Make a right on Cathedral Street. The garage entrance will be on the right.
Symphony Center Garage: Turn left into the short driveway that runs in front of the Meyerhoff. At the end of the driveway, turn left on Park Avenue. The garage entrance will be on the right.
From Pennsylvania, Timonium, Cockeysville, Towson and points North
- Take I-83 South to Exit 5 (Maryland Avenue). Make a left on Maryland Avenue at the bottom of the ramp.
- At the 2nd light, make a right on Preston Street. The Meyerhoff will be ahead on the left.
- Cathedral Street Garage: Make a right on Cathedral Street. The garage entrance will be on the right.
Symphony Center Garage: Turn left into the short driveway that runs in front of the Meyerhoff. At the end of the driveway, turn left on Park Avenue. The garage entrance will be on the right.
From Havre de Grace, Aberdeen, Bel Air and White Marsh
- Take I-95 South. Follow signs for I-95 Fort McHenry Tunnel to I-395 Downtown Baltimore.
- Follow the signs for Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK) North.
- Take MLK North for about 3 miles to the intersection of MLK and Howard Street (you will need to be in the right lane). Follow the signs for Chase Street/I-83. Go through 3 lights. The Meyerhoff will be ahead on your left.
- Cathedral Street Garage: The garage entrance will be on the right.
Symphony Center Garage: Make a left on Preston Street. Bear left into the short driveway that runs in front of the Meyerhoff. At the end of the driveway, turn left on Park Avenue. The garage entrance will be on the right.
From Virginia, Washington, Columbia and points South
- Take I-95 North to I-395 Downtown Baltimore.
- Follow the signs for Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard (MLK) North.
- Take MLK North for about 3 miles to the intersection of MLK and Howard Street (you will need to be in the right lane). Follow the signs for Chase Street/I-83. Go through 3 lights. The Meyerhoff will be ahead on your left.
