The Music Center at Strathmore is located one-half mile outside the Capital Beltway and is easily accessible from I-495 and I-270.

Performance Times
Performances occur on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. 

Concert Length
Most concerts are approximately two hours and typically include a 20-minute intermission.  The lobby opens one hour prior to the concert start time.

Purchasing Group Tickets
Please contact the Group Sales Office at 410.783.8170 or groups@BSOmusic.org Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for information regarding availability, pricing, reserving seats and payment procedure.

Methods of Payment
Payments can be made by check or with a credit card over the phone.  We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express.

Comp Policy
One complimentary ticket for every 40 tickets purchased per performance.  In addition, tour operators receive a complimentary escort ticket.

Dining Options
The Prelude Café in the Music Center, operated by Restaurant Associates, opens two hours prior to performance and features a variety of snacks, sandwiches, entrees, beverages and desserts.  Beverages and snacks are available at the bars during intermission. 

Accessibility
Elevators, ramps, specially designed and designated seating, designated parking and many other features make the Music Center at Strathmore accessible to patrons with disabilities.

Coat Check
A free coatroom is located in the lobby of the Music Center.  It closes 15 minutes after the performance ends.

Rest Rooms
Rest rooms are located on all levels of the concert hall except the Upper Tier.

Lost and Found
If you think you lost an item at the Music Center at Strathmore, please call 301.581.5200 and select the prompt for lost and found.  We do our best to return items to their owners, but the BSO cannot be responsible for items lost at the Music Center at Strathmore.

Bus Parking
Free motor coach parking can be arranged. Please notify the BSO Group Sales Office if your group will be coming by bus.

Garage Parking
Concert parking is located in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage off of Tuckerman Lane.  Parking is free for ticketed events in the Music Center at Strathmore.  At the end of each ticketed event, the gates to the garage will be open for 30 minutes to exit the garage.  If you leave at any other time during or after the performance, you must show your ticket stub to the Metro attendant to exit with no charge.

Valet Parking
Valet parking is available for $15 per vehicle.  Valet drop off and pick up is at the Circle Plaza entry to the Music Center at Strathmore, off Tuckerman Lane.

Handicap Parking
Spaces are available in the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro garage on Tuckerman Lane.

Driving Directions to the Grosvenor-Strathmore Metro Garage

From the Capital Beltway (I-495) Outer Loop, Baltimore and points East

• Strathmore is located just 1/2 mile north of the Capital Beltway. Take Exit 34 and head north on Wisconsin Ave. Route 355 (Rockville Pike).
• Take a right onto Tuckerman Lane just after the Metro overpass, follow Tuckerman around to the left, entrance to Metro parking garage is on the left.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage, and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center's main entrance.
  

From the Capital Beltway (I-495) Inner Loop, Northern VA and points West

• Exit the Capital Beltway onto Old Georgetown Road (Route 187, Exit 36). Turn left off the exit ramp onto Old Georgetown Road.
• Proceed for about 1.5 miles. Turn right onto Tuckerman Lane.
• Follow Tuckerman Lane for about 2 miles and cross over Rockville Pike (355), entrance to Metro parking garage is on the right.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage, and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center's main entrance.
  

From the I-270 Spur heading south, from Gaithersburg, Frederick and points North

• Exit the I-270 Spur onto Old Georgetown Road (Route 187). Follow the signs to Old Georgetown Road, North. Turn left onto Rt. 187.
• Within a 1/4 mile, turn right onto Tuckerman Lane. Follow Tuckerman Lane for about 2 miles and cross over Rockville Pike (355), entrance to Metro parking garage is on the right.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage, and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center's main entrance.
  

From Rockville Pike (Route 355), heading north from D.C., Bethesda and points South

• Strathmore is located 1/2 mile north of the Capital Beltway (I-495) on Rockville Pike. Take a right onto Tuckerman Lane just after the Metro overpass, follow Tuckerman around to the left, entrance to Metro parking garage is on the left.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage, and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center's main entrance.
  

From Rockville Pike (Route 355), heading south from Rockville and points North

• Strathmore is located on Rockville Pike (Route 355) just south of White Flint Mall. Pass the Mansion at Strathmore and take your next left onto Tuckerman Lane, the entrance to the Metro parking garage is on your right.
• Take the stairs or elevators to the 4th level of the garage, and walk across the sky bridge into the Music Center's main entrance.
