Heralded the "hottest artist on the classical music planet" by the New York Times, piano superstar Lang Lang joins Marin Alsop and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra to kick off the 2009-2010 season in exciting style—with Tchaikovsky's unforgettable First Piano Concerto. This special Opening Gala also features a cast of local performers celebrating the new season.
