Argentine pianist Ingrid Fliter, described as “one of the most instinctive and eloquent Chopin interpreters playing today” ( Daily Telegraph), makes her BSO debut in the composer’s earliest masterpiece, which captures the pathos of unrequited love. Tchaikovsky’s joyous Second Symphony celebrates his homeland in an intricate and colorful work based on Ukrainian folk tunes.
