Due to recent illness, the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra regrets to announce that sitarist Ravi Shankar has cancelled his upcoming engagement in concert on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 8 p.m. at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

Shankar sends his love and appreciation to all of his fans who have supported him and his Baltimore concerts over the years. Although the performance will not be rescheduled, Shankar has hopes of appearing at the Meyerhoff in a future season.

If you purchased tickets for Ravi Shankar, you will be automatically refunded in the method of payment provided. Patrons who purchased with cash will be issued a check. Please allow 12 days for refund processing. If you would like to exchange your tickets for another concert or event, please call the ticket office at 410.783.8000.
