Designed for adult amateur musicians, the BSO Academy is an immersive week of playing and learning side-by-side with the members of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Marin Alsop.

Strings and Percussion Clinic Application

Date: Saturday, April 20, 2013
Time:  9 am – 5:30 pm (times subject to change)
Location:    Baltimore, MD (Engineer’s Club)

Tuition: $250 (includes all classes and lunch), due at the time of application
Age Requirement:  You must be at least 21 years old to apply for BSO Academy programs.

Application Instructions:
Please note that applications will be accepted on a rolling basis, with participant admission based on the order in which applications are received.   We highly encourage participants to apply as soon as possible.  Participants will be notified of acceptance once a minimum enrollment on each instrument is reached.

  1. Submit the $250 tuition payment:
    1. Via our online payment page. After submitting your application form below, you will be automatically redirected to the payment page. You may also access the payment page via the link: https://www.bsomusic.org/main.taf?p=1,1,1,3&PerfNo=11578
    2. Via check. No cash or money orders. Please make checks payable to the "Baltimore Symphony Orchestra” and send to Hana Morford, Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, 1212 Cathedral Street, Baltimore, MD 21201.
    3. Please be aware that your application will not be considered until your application fee is received.

Cancellation Policy  
Should a participant apply to the Clinic and decide not to come, his/her cancellation will require written notice to Baltimore Symphony Orchestra.  The BSO will strictly adhere to the following cancellation policy:

    1. Cancellations made through March 22, 2013:   50% refund
    2. Cancellations made March 23 – April 5, 2013:  25% refund
    3. Cancellations made after April 6, 2013:  No refund
