Designed for adult amateur musicians, the BSO Academy is an immersive week of playing and learning side-by-side with the members of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra and Music Director Marin Alsop.

Instrument Clinics

Full one-day events, the Instrument Clinics provide amateur musicians with the opportunity to refine their instrumental playing skills. BSO musicians share their secrets on how to develop and maintain a beautiful sound and stellar technique. Each workshop will focus on fundamentals specific to the instrument and use standard etudes and pieces as vehicles for improvement. Participants will be notified of specific class content upon acceptance.

At the conclusion of the day, participants will be invited to see the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra perform for a special rate of $23/ticket.
