Renting the Meyerhoff

Below are the rental rates effective for ALL events after January 1, 2008 for use of the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall and other spaces available throughout the venue.

Auditorium

The rental fee for use of the auditorium INCLUDES the following services:

Basic Rental Fee, Box Office Staffing, Building Engineer, Cleaning Costs, Front of House Staffing, Event Security, Local Telephone Service, Technical Manager, House Ticket Takers/Ushers, Utilities.

Non-Ticketed Event (ex: Corporate Meeting, Receptions, etc.)

$7,500.00

Non-Profit Event (ex: Graduations, Charitable Organizations, etc.)

$8,500.00

- Additional Same Day Event

$6,800.00

Public Ticketed Event (ex: Concert, Comedy, Fundraiser, etc.)

$10,500.00

- Additional Same Day Event

Items NOT included in the fixed rent and services include (see page 2):

Stagehand Labor (costs vary), Musicians, Long Distance Phone, In-House Sound, In-House Lighting, Spotlight Usage, Additional Equipment Rentals, Additional Security Needs, Ticketing Fees, Catering Services, Event Insurance, MD State Admissions Tax (if applicable).

Ticketing Expenses

The Meyerhoff Symphony Hall has an exclusive agreement with Ticketmaster (TM) to provide ticketing services for all events at the venue. The facility representative and our box office staff will work closely to get your event built and on-sale.

Below are the fees charged to a presenter for a ticketed event:

Tickets sold via Outlets, Phone or Internet
Tickets sold via Venue Box Office
Meyerhoff Restoration Fee

For clients that choose to sell their own tickets for events the following fees will be charged:

Stagehand Labor

All stagehand calls are for a minimum of four hours for each call, with a minimum of four people. To obtain an estimate for labor associated with your event, please coordinate all production elements with the Meyerhoff Manager of Facility Sales and the venues Shop Steward.

In addition to auditorium, there are several other spaces available for rent at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall.

Four-Hour Rental (Includes: Two Venue Ushers & One Security Guard)
