Craig Richmond joined the first violin section of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra in 1971 after receiving his Master’s Degree from the Juilliard School.  While at the Juilliard School, Mr. Richmond studied with Dorothy DeLay and was the Assistant Concertmaster of the Juilliard Theatre Orchestra.  He also studied at the Chautauqua Institution, where he was Concertmaster of the Student Symphony and at the Meadowmount School of Music.

Mr. Richmond has served as Concertmaster at the “Festival of Two Worlds” in Spoleto, Italy, and performed at the Grand Teton Music Festival for five seasons. In 1982, he became a charter member of the Baltimore Chamber Orchestra, and served as its Concertmaster for more than twenty years.

Mr. Richmond is a devoted member of the Organ Historical Society, and travels to Europe each summer with the group.
