Listen to Jim's interview with Judith Krummeck

In my free time…I like to take long walks at Loch Raven with my dog, Carmen.

If I hadn't become a trombonist, I might have become a psychologist.

In my car, you'll most likely find me listening to…great jazz singers like Mark Murphy, Mel Torme, Sarah Vaughan, Billie Holiday.

I listen to jazz, rock and pop when I unwind.

My cell phone is usually set on vibrate.

My most embarrassing moment onstage was…when I called Zinman "Maestro" (he preferred to be called David).

The last book I read was…All Aboard for Paradise by Dee Marvine.

Most people would be surprised to find out…that I call myself a plumber.
