Baltimore Symphony Launches BSO Passport
Offering Unlimited Concerts to Patrons Age 21-40
FOR JUST $75

Baltimore, Md. (October 5, 2012) - The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) announces BSO Passport, a new discounted ticket program for young professionals.  From October 15-November 15, patrons age 21-40 can pay $75 to purchase a BSO Passport, good for admission to unlimited* concerts for the entire 2012-13 season at both the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall in Baltimore, Md. and The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda, Md. BSO Passports can be purchased exclusively at BSOmusic.org/Passport. Passport users must present their Passport card and a photo ID to enter all selected concerts throughout the entire season.

"A key objective of the BSO is to become an entertainment destination for young people," said BSO Vice President of Marketing and Communications Eileen Andrews. "We recognized that, like many orchestras around the country, we were not adequately serving the young professional age-demographic in our region. BSO Passport seeks to bridge that gap and cater to the busy professional's lifestyle needs: pay a one-time fee to attend as many concerts as they choose throughout the entire season. It's flexible and affordable. We came up with the title 'Passport' as it implies an escape. It's our version of the 'Easy Button.'"
