Ivan Stefanovic performs for Johns Hopkins Physicians
This is a performance recorded in Ivan’s home during an online mini-concert, which was viewed by about 175 physicians and scientists from the Johns Hopkins Departments of Neuroscience/Neurology at the end of their weekly meeting regarding the COVID-19 virus. Dr. Alex Pantelyat, who is the co-founder and co-director of the Johns Hopkins Center for Music and Medicine (https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/center-for-music-and-medicine/), reached out to Baltimore Symphony Musicians and asked if they could offer a musical interlude at the end of their weekly meetings in order to provide some much-needed relief in their very busy lives these days. The musicians were more than happy to oblige, starting a series, and thus firming up a relationship between two of Baltimore’s stellar institutions, the John Hopkins Hospital and the BSO.
