In the spirit of a ball game, cheer for your favorite BSO musician teams as they perform orchestral works all about sports! With PDQ’s Beethoven Sportscast, the iconic athlete William Tell as depicted in Rossini’s Overture to William Tell, a sing-along of Take Me Out to the Ball Game and more, the BSO celebrates our 100th birthday, Baltimore native Babe Ruth's birthday, the Super Bowl and all things sports. The BSO’s own Strings, Brass, Woodwinds and Percussion Teams will be dressed in sports attire and will be making a grand entrance to each concert as the team’s ‘starting line-ups.’ To fire up the crowd between each piece, this performance will also feature Matthew Van Hoose, organist for the Washington Nationals!
Come dressed for your favorite team's jersey!
