Midweek Concert: Peter and the Wolf

Midweek Concert

Due to the snow conditions, and the school systems' cancellations and delays, the 10 am performance of Baltimore Symphony's Midweek performance of Peter and the Wolf has been cancelled.

The 11:30 am performance will still take place. Those with tickets for 10 am who wish to attend the 11:30 am performance should email the ticket office at TicketOffice@BSOmusic.org to let them know they will attend at 11:30am. If you are a 10 am ticket holder unable to attend the 11:30 am performance, we hope that you will consider exchanging your tickets for today's concert into Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra (for Grades 3-6) on April 24 and 25. Please contact the BSO Ticket Office at TicketOffice@BSOmusic.org, or 877.276.1444 to exchange tickets for a future performance or to request a refund. Concert exchanges must be requested by Friday, March 8.

VON SUPPÉ Light Cavalry Overture
PROKOFIEV Peter and the Wolf

The BSO musicians must outwit a fearsome wolf that threatens orchestra and audience alike. The concert hall becomes the dramatic setting and musicians become the characters as Prokofiev’s exhilarating musical tale springs to life, putting kids on the edge of their seats.
