Becky Mossing has performed all over America and overseas working in regional theatre, national tours and Off Broadway. Credits include Beauty and the Beast (nat’l tour), Cinderella Waltz (Ubu Rep – Off B’way), and Working with Showdown Theatre Arts, in Guildford, United Kingdom. She was lucky enough to be part of both casts of Hairspray in Concert with John Waters and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Becky frequently narrates weekday and family series concerts for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra including Carnival of the Animals, The Nutcracker, The Remarkable Farkle McBride, Wizards and Wands, and Wizards, Witches, Ghosts and Goblins. Becky’s directing credits include Working, Our House, Hairspray, Rent, and Elegies with Showdown Theatre Arts, U.K. and The Polar Express with the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Becky’s cabaret performances can be seen frequently in the Baltimore area. She is the Director of TWIGS, the Baltimore School for the Arts’ after school and Saturday arts program for more than 700 children in grades 2-8 and is also the high school’s musical theater instructor. Becky is the director of the Hippodrome Foundation’s Summer Theatre Intensive. A graduate of the Baltimore School for the Arts as well as New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Becky received the Outstanding Achievement Award in Musical Theatre upon college graduation. She received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Goucher College. Her greatest achievements, however, are her teenaged twin daughters with husband Larry Mossing.
