RACHMANINOFF The Bells

The powerful Czech pianist Lukáš Vondráček joins Marin Alsop for a lush program of piano, vocal and orchestral music by Sergei Rachmaninoff, whose Second Piano Concerto boasts one of his biggest romantic tunes. The program closes with his choral symphony, The Bells, based on the poem by Edgar Allan Poe.

Presented in partnership with the Edgar Allan Poe House and Museum, this performance is part of the third annual International Poe Festival.
