  • Attend a rehearsal of the BSO, open exclusively to Road Scholars
  • Enjoy dinner with BSO Musicians and Staff at the Engineer's Club
  • Learn how an orchestra runs through classes with BSO Musicians and Staff
  • Be treated to an exclusive lunch with BSO musicians
  • Attend a private concert by Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra musicians

 Participant Highlights from the inaugural program April 9-13, 2014

  • Attended a rehearsal of the BSO led by Maestro Itzhak Perlman followed by a surprise opportunity to join the maestro on-stage for a group photo 
  • Listened in on an OrchKids rehearsal and work-shop with guest artist Seven by Four ensemble
  • Experienced a private chamber music performance by BSO musicians Lura Johnson, Marcia Kamper and Jane Marvine followed by dinner at the Engineer's Club
  • Participated in a series of classes with Matt Spivey, VP of Artistic Operations, Alexandra Arrieche, Assistant Conductor and Jane Marvine, Principal English Horn
  • Took a tour of Fells Point led by BSO Musician and Fells Point Town Crier Michael Lisicky
