Advantageous to All: Simple Strategies for Giving at Year’s End

As the end of 2020 draws near, with COVID-19 challenges ever present and a contentious presidential election around the corner, please join us for a timely presentation by panelists from the BSO’s Planned Giving Advisory Council. Our home team of legal, tax, and financial experts will offer an overview of recent tax law changes (the SECURE Act, the CARES Act, etc.) that boost charitable giving, review tax-effective strategies for making year-end charitable gifts, and weigh in on market conditions. Learn how the circumstances at hand, though unsettling and difficult, present a unique opportunity to support the BSO as it enters a bright new future of artistic excellence and outreach. Virtual Third Tuesday Happy Hours

Join us for one of the BSO Virtual Happy Hours with BSO Musicians, where you can expect great wine and music to match, sponsored by Total Wine & More. Every third Tuesday of the month participate in a virtual wine tasting led by TW&M Sommelier, which will be paired with a playlist curated by BSO Musicians. Participating members will receive three bottles of wine and materials for the event on the afternoon of the event via no-contact delivery.

This event is complimentary, available to Governing Members Gold Level and above. Wines, tasting cards, and other event materials will be delivered to members’ homes the afternoon of the event. RSVP is required one week prior to event. Space is limited to 8 households with a maximum of 4 participants per household per event.

This fun, informal and engaging series of pre-concert talks will take place LIVE just prior to broadcast performances. You’ll learn about the repertoire, meet talented new members of the BSO, hear from the digital production team, or be surprised by special guest appearances – anything could happen!

This event is complimentary, available to all Symphony Society Silver Level Members and above. Registration is required, and space is limited to 25 households per event.

Sponsored by Atlas Restaurant Group, participants will enjoy an expertly curated three-course, par-cooked meal, complete with drink pairing suggestions, and step-by-step finishing instructions from a team of Baltimore’s most talented chefs. Meal kits will be delivered to participating households the afternoon of the event via no-contact delivery.

This event is available for Symphony Society Gold Level Members and above, for a fee of $75 per participant. RSVP and menu selections required one week prior to the event. Space is limited to 25 households with a limit of two participants per household.
