The acclaimed BSO Encore series returns! Listen to Jonathon Heyward’s inaugural Baltimore Symphony Orchestra concerts on Maryland’s classical music station, WBJC.
The BSO and WBJC 91.5FM are thrilled to relive these historic moments, broadcasting the first two performances conducted by Jonathon Heyward as Music Director Designate and the nine concerts conducted during his first season as Music Director in the new season of BSO Encore.
The beloved series is designed to run concurrently with Heyward’s second season at the BSO and returns to its coveted timeslot: The first Sunday of each month from November 2024 through June 2025, from 1–3 pm.
Each BSO Encore episode will feature a remastered concert and Jonathon Heyward’s perspective from the podium, including a conversation about what’s on stage that month with WBJC’s host Jonathan Palevsky.
