BSO Academy Chamber Music Program

Please contact education@bsomusic.org to be added to the mailing list for 2019 BSO Academy information.

The Academy Chamber Music Program appeals to a wide range of adult musicians with various chamber music backgrounds, seeking a more intensive experience playing alongside a BSO musician who also coaches the ensemble. For all participants, the Academy Chamber Music Program provides adult musicians with opportunities to develop and advance their chamber music skills.

Note: Participation and group assignments are based on enrollment. Every effort is made to include everyone, however if that is not possible, a full refund will be granted.

The Chamber Music Program offers the following:

  • A small ensemble quartet-size or larger with a BSO musician playing and coaching
  • Three 1.5 hour rehearsals
  • A dress rehearsal in the concert space
  • A public performance

Fee: $700

Add-on:
Orchestral Program participants who would like to play chamber music in addition to the components of the Orchestral Program may do so.

Fee: $650

Note: The BSO Academy Chamber Orchestra under Jonathan Carney will only take place during the BSO Academy Chamber Music Festival @ Artscape in July 2018. Click here for details.
