BSO on the Go places selected BSO musicians into the county’s elementary schools (including Title I schools). In contrast to a passive auditorium concert, these interactive programs take place in a more intimate classroom setting that encourages students and musicians to engage one another. In addition, at selected secondary schools, there are opportunities for student orchestras to perform with BSO soloists at public in-school concerts. BSO on the GO has received widespread acclaim from participating children as well as their music educators.
