Gather in the Lockheed Martin Lobby to hear from British-born classical and jazz concert pianist, Dr. Rachel Franklin, BSO Music Scholar in Residence at The Music Center at Strathmore. With storytelling and piano demonstrations, Dr. Franklin showcases the lush, imaginative brilliance of Ravel’s ballet score “Daphnis et Chloé” and explores the dramatic energy of Hadyn’s “Fire Symphony.” This lecture begins at 7 pm.
