Baltimore Symphony Orchestra Cancels Performances and Events Through May 24

BALTIMORE SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA CANCELS PERFORMANCES AND EVENTS THROUGH MAY 24

March 31, 2020 — The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) today announced that it would cancel all concerts and public events through May 24 at the Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, The Music Center at Strathmore and other venues. All affected concerts and events are listed below.

The Baltimore Symphony Orchestra has continued to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19, as well as follow the recommendations of the CDC and government officials.

During this time, the BSO has launched BSO OffStage, an online platform to stay connected with our audiences through digital content. Most recently, the BSO released a video of the Orchestra virtually performing the final few minutes of Mahler’s Third Symphony. The following performances and events are cancelled. This is in addition to performances and events previously cancelled through April 12.
