BALTIMORE (October 17, 2023) – Guests are invited for a thrill alongside the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra (BSO) with a special Halloween-themed performance of BSO Fusion: Skull and Bones. The BSO’s most popular concert series, which blends the music of beloved classical greats with the most popular hits of today, expands to The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda for the first time on Friday, October 27. Concertgoers are encouraged to bring the entire family and get festive with costumes during this exciting performance.

“We are excited to have our first BSO Fusion of the season make its return with a Halloween twist,” said Mark C. Hanson, CEO and President, BSO. “Led by the exuberant, Steve Hackman, we couldn’t think of a better time than now to expand the series to The Music Center at Strathmore in North Bethesda. Bringing this genre blending performance to our long-time supporters in the DC Metro area is a perfect opportunity to engage our audiences’ wide ranging musical tastes from classical, pop, hip-hop and beyond.”

BSO Fusion: SKULL AND BONES

Friday, October 27, 8 pm, Strathmore

Debuting for the first time at Strathmore, the BSO Fusion pre-concert party kicks-off at 6:30 pm with a costume party featuring tunes by DJ Justjuwit and creepy crawly photos with Snap Happy Photo Booth. Then the Orchestra takes the stage, led by Steve Hackman with Skull and Bones – a symphonic showcase and Halloween dance party.
